Iwao Furusawa

Iwao Furusawa and his violin are a constant river, always moving, always producing. A laureate of the Wieniawski International Violin Competition and concertmaster of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra since 1988, he performs on approximately 160 stages a year, releases a new album every spring, and has built a body of work that includes a record which sold 150,000 copies. Four decades in, the current has not slowed.
